What is RailPlus?

RailPlus is the new name of the CSXT Intermodal door-to-door service. Over the past year, we have been hard at work updating our processes, changing our operations and improving service in order to deliver MORE for our customers, and now, we have a name that reflects who we are: RailPlus. 
Plus means MORE – access to MORE markets, MORE capacity, and MORE service. Watch the RailPlus video to learn MORE.

 

What markets do you serve? Do you service Canada or Mexico?

RailPlus offers service coast-to-coast. View the RailPlus map.

In addition to domestic U.S. service, RailPlus provides door-to-door service to/from Eastern Canada. View the Montreal service map. RailPlus does not offer door-to-door service in or out of Mexico.

What commodities do you move?

RailPlus moves a large variety of commodities every day. From paper and plastics to clothing and retail goods, we help you better serve your shippers through providing a one-stop intermodal solution. Commodities we frequently move include consumer electronics, appliances, food and beverage items, and countless other inputs and finished goods. In fact, we even ship select Hazmat. For more detailed information on what we ship, as well as prohibited commodities, refer to Service Directory 1 Section 6.6 thru 6.12.

 

How do I become a customer?

To become a customer, fill out the new customer form and our team will be in touch with more information to quickly get you on track and moving your first load.

 

How do I book a load with RailPlus?

As part of your onboarding, you will be provided access to ShipCSX, an online booking portal where you will have access to rates, schedules and other tools. If you are already a customer, access ShipCSX to view rates, review schedules and book your next load.
