EQUIPMENT

One of the advantages domestic shippers have in using CSXT Intermodal is the year-round availability of container equipment.

RESERVATIONS

Domestic containers are reserved year-round at many of our network terminals. Please refer to eBusiness Tools, simplified pricing, and service lane matrices for applicable origins. To reserve a rail-owned container, use REZ-1.

INTERCHANGE AGREEMENTS

Drayage companies accessing partner-operated terminals to dray rail-owned containers onto or off of our terminals are required to have a valid motor carrier interchange agreement (MCIA) that includes any partner specific addendum. The CSX Intermodal Terminals, Inc. Addendum, can be found here (PDF). The Intermodal Association of North America (IANA) is responsible for administering these agreements through their UIIA program. Visit the UIIA website to view a copy of the UIIA Agreement or to obtain more information.
